This tool is used to release any serpentine belt tensioner with a 1/2 in. square drive opening. This tool is a 13 in long, chrome-plated, single-end, reversible ratcheting wrench that has a 1/2 in. square drive and a vinyl grip.
Ratcheting action allows for better positioning of the tool, which gives more swing angle than a solid type serpentine belt wrench.
The ratchet head is only 1 in. thick for better access to confined areas.
Compact overall length keeps handle from coming in contact with radiator hoses, charged air cooler pipes, etc.
