    Features

  • This set contains all the gauges required to set slave piston lash on Detroit Diesel engines. Set consists of 4 in. offset feeler gauges with 0.002 step Go-No-Go.
  • Feeler gauge blades are in the thicknesses required by each Jacobs Engine Brake model.
  • 0.002 in step is on the bottom side of the blade so that the Go-No-Go can be felt against the exhaust rocker arm adjusting screw or exhaust valve bridge (depending on the model engine).
    Blade sizes and usage:
  • 0.019 in. - 0.021 in. Series 60, model years 1999 and before
  • 0.022 in. - 0.024 in. Series 60, all model years, Series 50
  • 0.025 in. - 0.027 in. Series 60, all model years, Series 50
  • 0.031 in. - 0.033 in. Series 60, model year 2000 and after
  • 0.058 in. - 0.060 in. Series 71, Series 92
  • 0.063 in. - 0.065 in. Series 71, Series 92
