Description

  • Function: Extracts broken dipstick tubes
  • Common issue on:
    • GM 4.8L Engines
    • GM 5.3L Engines
    • GM 5.7L Engines
    • GM 6.0L Engines
    • GM 6.2L Engines
  • Problem: When the dipstick tube breaks off, a piece remains at the entry point located at the bottom of the engine block (near the oil pan).
  • Usage: Use the extractor to thread into the tube for removal.
  • Compatibility: Works with #5401 Thread Adapter Tool and any standard thread (5/8"-18 TPI) slide hammer for proper removal of the stuck dipstick tube.
