Machined from carbide, this 5.0 mm guide top cutter pilot spot faces excess guide-liner material from valve guide bosses in limited clearance areas found on small port cylinder heads. It utilizes a 7/16" (11.1 mm) diameter reversible carbide blade and a 3/8" (9.5 mm) L shank to maintain accuracy across its 3-3/4" (95.2 mm) overall length. This pilot is also interchangeable with the larger 5042635a for expanded application across different valve guide components.
