The Alemite 555 pistol grip grease gun comes with a rigid extension and coupler, has a cylinder capacity of 16 oz, and delivers lubricant at pressures up to 7,500 psi (pounds per square inch) at a rate of 1 oz per 30 strokes in high-volume mode and 1 oz per 67 strokes in high-pressure mode. A dual mode, pistol grip lever mechanism makes it possible to choose either high-volume output or high-pressure delivery. This grease gun loads grease either by bulk loading or by inserting a grease cartridge. The follower has a heavy-duty spring to keep the grease gun primed, and a bleeder valve keeps it from building up excessive pressure in the cylinder. This grease gun injects grease into standard grease fittings and is suitable for applications such as lubricating motor vehicles, construction and industrial equipment, and aeronautic.
